Hi,
I'm having Amelia installed on my website to book private Coaching Sessions. Concerning my privacy policy on my website for my customers, I'm wondering how Amelia is handling the data that my customers provide to book an appointment.
Is the data of my customers (name, email adress, phone number, selected service, selected date, selected payment method, usage of a coupon) only saved on my own server or is any of this data sent to anywhere else?
If the data of my customers is sent to anywhere else: where to is that and how can I get to know what exactly is happening with this data?
I am asking for this information as I need to make sure that my privacy policy follows the regulations of DSGVO in Europe. Could not find anything on this topic on wpamelia.com so far.
Thank you!
Johanna
Hi Johanna,
Thank you for the purchase.
All the data that customers add or you add for your business is stored just in your WordPress database and it is not sent anywhere else.
"Is the data of my customers (name, email adress, phone number, selected service, selected date, selected payment method, usage of a coupon) only saved on my own server or is any of this data sent to anywhere else?"
- Yes it is only saved in the database on your server.
"If the data of my customers is sent to anywhere else: where to is that and how can I get to know what exactly is happening with this data?"
No, you can take a look directly in the code that data is not sent anywhere else.
Perfect. Thank you Milos for your quick reply!
