Hello Support, first this is really a great plug-in and I think it will work very well with what we need to do. I did want to alert you to what may be a small defect. When I edit a row in my Gravity Forms based table, wpdatatables keeps sending out the notification tied to the form. I opened a ticket with Gravity Forms about this and their response was that Gravity Forms is designed to only send the notification out on the Original Submission and that this is an issue with wpdatatables. Can you please let me know if there is a way to stop the notifications from going out every time a row is updated? This could be very annoying to some users as they will keep getting mail every time an edit is made.
Let me know if you need access to my site to see this issue.
Thank you Milan, no worries on the response. I sent the last mail on Sunday night my time and your response time has always been very good. Let me know what your development team has to say!!
We made some changes in plugin and notification should not be sent on edit rows in table made from gravity forms. Please check on website and let me know is it working.
Hey Milan, not sure you are still around today (Wednesday), but I just tried to test and now I'm not getting the notification when submitting the form.
Can you take a look to see if something got broken?
It could be a slow mail server, but have not seen it this slow before.
I'm going to submit another record just to make sure.
Also, when editing the table, I still get the message saying that the form has been submitted, which probably needs to be removed as well since we don't want the mail when editing the table.
Hey Milan, no prob, everything is back to the way it was...I'm getting mail again when submitting the form as well as when I edit the table like before.
I receive feedback form my team and they need more informations. Do you need to disable notifications when you use New button or when you use Edit button in wpdatatables?
Hi Milan, thanks for your attention to this. I only need notifications stopped when an edit is done in wpdatatables. Our users won't be adding any new records directly to the table. Once again, if you can imagine all the mail that would go out every time someone updated a row..this application is being used to track the progress of tasks, so there will be times that the user could update 30 or 40 rows at a time, which means 30 or 40 eMails to everyone in the group, which is not necessary for us. We only want the notifications to go out when a user has submitted the Gravity Form.
Hello Milan, thank you so much for this work. I confirmed your last update is now working correctly. I'm no longer getting the eMails when an edit is done in wpDataTables. One small thing I wanted to show you. When I do an edit, I still get the confirmation pop-up like I did when the form was submitted in Gravity Forms. I attached a screen shot. This is not really a big deal as I can tell my users to just ignore this message, but wanted to share that with you.
This is a normal behavior when you edit or add new data to get message like in Gravity forms. We already help you with disabling built in functions in our add on and further customizing of layout or functionality of our plugins or add ons are out of the scope that standard support provide.
Hi Milan, no worries, like I said before, the eMail suppression when editing was very helpful. Thanks!! One more question I want to ask you. I received a notice from Code Canyon that there is a new release of the integration software. Should I take this update? If so I assume I may lose the last change you made to suppress the notifications when editing a table?
Hi Milan, I finally had a chance to install the newest release of the integration software between Gravity Forms and wpdatatables. I have release 1.1.2 now. When I went to apply the code to stop the notifications when doing an edit, I could not at first find the folder called wdt-gravity-integration under the plugins folder, but I found this instead:
I was able to update the two php files and test and everything is working fine, but wanted to make sure you expected the plugin to install itself this way or is there something I did incorrectly. I just took the zip file as it came down from code canyon.
Hello Bogdan, no issues now. I just wanted you to know where the interface code was being installed on my site with releae 1.1.2 as it is not installing to the same place that the beta version did. When the install of the latest release was complete, I noticed on my list of installed plug-ins 2 Gravity Forms Integration for wpDatatables in the list...one was the beta, the other was the current release.
I just deleted the beta and activated the current release
Bogdan, this was not wpdatatables plugin, but the add-on 'Gravity Forms Integration for wpDatatables' that I have been working with Milan on. My only concern was that the latest release did not install in the same location as the beta did...I had two versions of the add-on, so I deleted the beta, and activated the latest release. The folder it installed in looks like this:
Hey Bogdan, I think you might want to take a look at how your zip file looks on Code Canyon because when I tried to unzip the file, I did not get back this folder: wp-content/plugins/wdt-gravity-integration
Also, when I attempted to edit a row in the Gravity Form based table, it is not working. I have attached a screen shot of what happens when I attempt to update a row.
I'm going to probably roll back to a restore at this point where I had the beta version because that was working fine, so let me know if you have any further suggestions.
Hi Milan or Bogdan, just wanted to check if you have a solution to this issue. I have tried many things on my side to fix it...restoring back to the beta version did not seem to help...I also tried to delete the wpdatatable and create a new table pulling in the form, but I get same results...the edit's don't work, so let me know if there is something else I can try.
Sorry for late responese. We were recreate your form in our local envirement and then debbug it to figure out what cause the issue.
The issue cause Photo field in Gravity form, because have type file upload and at the moment it is not possible to edit or add new files throw edit modal in wpdatatables from Gravity forms. My sugestion is to remove that field from Gravity form and edit modal and table will work fine.

HI Jon,
I hope that you did not lose all of your tables, because this is the right way to update the plugins:
Thank you for your purchase.
1.) Download zip from this link ( in your case you will download Integration for Gravity forms Add-on)
2.) Use FTP to open /yourwordpressfolder/wp-content/plugins
3.) Delete existing wpdatatables folder.
4.) Upload previously downloaded wpdatatables folder through FTP to plugins folder (unzip it)
5.) Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section.
6.) Deactivate wpDataTables, and then activate it again.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT delete the old version from WP-admin (by clicking “Delete” in the plugins page). If you do, you will lose all your tables!
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

If you look at Milan's instructions, he said the new release should install in this location:
wp-content/plugins/wdt-gravity-integration
I don't know if this is going to be an issue or not. I have been testing it, and so far everything seems to be working as expected.
Just let me know if this is ok.
Thanks,
Jon
Hi Jon,
Sorry for misunderstanding.
Yes Milan was right.
The location should be
wp-content/plugins/wdt-gravity-integration
So when you download the zip file from Envato and when you unzip the folder , you should have the new folder wdt-gravity-integration folder.
That folder should be replaced with the old folder in this path
../wp-content/plugins/wdt-gravity-integration
Best regards.
