I create a wp data table where there is a field of float Type.
When i make the export in excel the data about this field in the excel file are not correct, because there is a point instead of the comma and moreover the point is not in the correct position. For example if I insert 897,77 by the frontend, when I export in the excel i find 89.877 as you can see in the attached file.
In order for plugin to display the right number format , the number format from the file must me be the same as from the wpdatatables settings page ( attachment)
Can you please check if those formats are the same.
Can you please send me the link of that table so I can take a look.
Also the issue can be in the localisation of the number format on your machine. The number format on your machine ( desktop) should be the same as the number format in the wpdatatables settings page.
You machine will open the file by number format which is set on the computer.

Hi Bogdan.
Thanks for the help but the problem still persists.
I have changed the wpdatatables settings as you indicated.
Moreover as the export to excel starts automatically, I cannot set the format of the excel file ad if I make it later it doesn't work.
Can you give me any other suggestions to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards.
Salvo
