Hello, I just purchased the integration add-on between Gravity Forms and WPDataTables, but unfortunately, when I try to create the new table from the Gravity Form, I get the error 'Table in Data Source has no rows". I did submit a form entry and it does have one row in the table. Also, the integration add-on appears to have installed correctly as wpdatatables shows the form and it's fields when I try to configure, but it stops me from creating the table with this error.
Please let me know if there is something else I am missing here.
Can you please tell me do you have latest version of wpdatatables which is 2.2.3? We lunch it recently so we didn't release auto update yet but you can update the plugin manually by following this steps:
Hi Milan, I went to the link you have below to get release 2.2.3 for wpdatatables, but I'm still getting release 2.2.1 from Envato's site. Is there another place to get the more current release?
Hi again Milan sorry to keep posting here. So I did find the correct download on the Envato site, and I now have version 2.2.3 for wpdatables, but I'm still getting the same error when I try to build the table from the gravity form(Table in Datasource has no rows). Let me know if you need an ID to get into the site to take a look or if there is something else to try.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Also point me on gravity form id that you use for making wpdatatables from it so I can take a look.
Hi Milan, I purchased both plugins (wpdatatabled and integration with gravity forms) just minutes ago. First thing I get when I try to connect with one of my GravityForms is exactly the error Jon mentioned. Could you also please help me?
Milan, thank you for taking the time to look at this. It took me a while to determine what you did to make this work versus what I was doing, and I see the difference. I think in your documentation, it says that you have to have at least one row in the table to create the table from a Gravity Form. What I was doing was creating the first form entry from the front-end versus the back end functions of Gravity forms. For some reason, wpdatatables throws that error if the first record is created when submitting the form from a page. So I created a form entry from the back-end in Gravity Forms like you did and it created the table successfully. I was also able to go to my page with the form, and submit a form entry and it did appear in the table as expected. I don't know if this is a bug where you have to create the first row from the back-end, but wanted you to know what I was experiencing.
Thanks again, and I'll let you know how my testing is progressing!!
Yes we reproduce it.
I can confirm now that this is the bug on our side and thank you very much for reporting it.
I will forward this to my team to investigate and to find some solution for this.

Hi Jon,
Thank you for your purchase.
Can you please tell me do you have latest version of wpdatatables which is 2.2.3? We lunch it recently so we didn't release auto update yet but you can update the plugin manually by following this steps:
1.) Download zip from this link
2.) Use FTP to open /yourwordpressfolder/wp-content/plugins
3.) Delete existing wpdatatables folder.
4.) Upload previously downloaded wpdatatables folder through FTP to plugins folder (unzip it)
5.) Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section.
6.) Deactivate wpDataTables, and then activate it again.
7.) Clear server and browser cache
IMPORTANT: Do NOT delete the old version from WP-admin (by clicking “Delete” in the plugins page) if you don’t want to lose all your tables!
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic

Hi Milan, thanks for the response. I do not have the release you mention below so I will update that today and let you know the results.
Thanks,
