We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi
I have setup a column to be URL Link but the sorting does not work correctly.
I saw a Comment on Codecanyon around 4 years ago and you said that it was not possible but you would look into it.
Is there a way to fix this?
Hi Eben,
Thank you for your purchase.
Sorry to disappoint you but unfortunately it is still not possible to sort the URL column for now.
This feature is on our TODO list and hopefully we will implement it soon.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Hi Bogdan
Thanks for your quick response.
Since I cannot use sort on the URL Link column I need to be able to move a new created row into its Alphabetical position, is this possible?
HI Eben,
In case like this our suggestion is to make some ranked column that will be hidden in front end.
In that column you will have numbers for example from 1 to 10. Let's say you already have 10 entries and you are adding 11th ( for this entry you want to be in the possition number 5) Just change the numbers from 11 to 5, and also change the old 5th column to 11th.
Also use Ranked column as a default sorting column.
In this case the Ranked column will be hidden in the front end and used as a default sorting column, which you will get the Alphabetical possition.
The only issue here is that you will need to manually change and add numbers in the ranked column.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

The thought of having to change the number for 100 rows in the racked column to add a new row to the top, filled me with despair :(
But then I realised that I could use Google Sheets as the linked source and I can just add the new row where ever I need :)
Looking forward to hopefully having the URL Link sorting issue fixed in the future
Thanks
