Is there a way to have a table show only the entries from the current date (like when it is first viewed), and then have the option to show more through a range of dates in the filters?
It seems like this is perhaps possible with the Placeholder option, however that option is not available as shown in your documentation.
HI Ink-Form,
Thank you for your purchase.
Unfortunately Placeholders are only available with some table types . As you can see from our documentation
From version 2.2 it is possible to use placeholders with other table types – JSON, XML, and PHP array. ( alongside with the MySQL tables)
But we do not have TODAY placeholder.
As a workaround suggestion, please take a look at this link from our documentation where you can see how you can use TODAY placeholder in datepicker so a cell value will be compared with today’s date.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Thank you very much. The comparison operator is great, but it looks like that is primarily good for setting a cell/row color etc. If there is no way to render the table with dates only matching the %today% date, is there a way to have the table always render by date in a descending way? That way, all the latest dates display first?
Additionally, some of my fields are pulled in from another data source/table. Is it possible to only pull in data that matches a criteria? For instance, get doctors.names where doctors.available = yes and only insert those values? Currently, my table is set up manually, but if I did it via a mySQL query, is that a more plausible way to accomplish this?
HI Ink-Form ,
If you choose for that column to be sortable then you can also choose a direction of the sotting ( ascending/descending) attachment.
As for the other question may I kindly suggest you to open a new ticket so we can keep our "one issue per ticket" policy. Our agents will help you as soon as they can.
Best regards.
