Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

Charting when data series is in rows, not columns

    Hi,

I'm trying to use WPDataTables charting to chart some data that is in a wordpress mysql table. My database table has rows for each client, and I'm using filtering to select only that row in my table display on a page. I am also trying to build a chart that follows the table filtering, which means that all the data in my data series I need for the chart are in a single database row. I'm trying to configure the chart to use that data, but it seems my only option is to chart a column that has the data series in several rows. Please let me know if there is a way to do what I am attempting.

    thank you!

    Hi Jeff,
    Thank you for your purchase.

If you make a query with filters that will return only one row then chart that you made from that table will be show on chart. You can also filter table made from query with placeholders, predefined values...

    Best regards

    Kind Regards,

    Isidora Markovic

    Hi Milan,

The chart config for a line chart won't let me do that. My data is in a row with the following columns:

    a1 a2 a3 a4 a5 b1 b2 b3 b4 b5

I want to have two lines on my chart, "a" and "b", each with 5 data points. Do you know of a way to configure the chart to select the data for two series from a single database row?

    thanks,

    Jeff

    Hi Jeff,

Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

Please point me on table id that you are using for making this chart so I can take a look.
