wpDataTables->Settings->Data format. there no one of most adopted data format ISO8601 (YYYY-MM-DD) that works universally for any nations.
Do you planning to add support for ISO8601 or if not, where do I need change code to add it to the list of acceptable data format without breaking something?
Sorry to disappoint you but unfortunately this date format is not yet supported in our plugin. We have a plan to add this format for some of our future updates but for now it is not available.
Also it is not that easy as it looks to add a new date format and it needs to be tested it on order not to cause any issues or bugs with the rest of the features from the plugin.
I can not tell you precisely when this format will be available but we added this in our TODO list so I hope it i will be included soon for our next updates. Lets say about 1-2 months due to holidays and developers time.
