    Hello

I installed a fresh copy of WordPress 4.9.7. Purchased the plugin and installed it by uploading the ZIP file.

I tried activating it but then get a fatal error.

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'class' (T_CLASS), expecting identifier (T_STRING) or variable (T_VARIABLE) or '{' or '$' in /home/bmsdev5/calendar.bmsdev.ca/wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/ameliabooking.php on line 129

    Please advise

    Thanks

    Hi bumpmedia,

    Thank you for the purchase.

Please update the PHP version on your server to PHP 5.5 or higher and it will work.

Thank you this resolved the issue. Is there a way to collect information from the customer during the appointment booking? Like to add free form fields to collect customer information during the appointment booking?

    You are welcome.

"Is there a way to collect information from the customer during the appointment booking? Like to add free form fields to collect customer information during the appointment booking? "

    - Not in the current version of the plugin, but we will add this feature in one of the next updates. You can vote/suggest features at this link https://wpamelia.cnflx.io. As you can see Custom Fields features is one of the top voted features and it will be developed in of one of the next major updates.

Thanks! Any idea on when the next release will be?

    Hi bumpmedia,

Unfortunately we cannot yet guarantee a ETA for this feature, but it is among our high priority tasks, the rough plan is to release it some time in August, however this may change.

    Hi Milos,

Thanks for the quick reply, what we offer is services that are not in a single location.  Our Clients will request services at different addresses.  Is there a way of setting it up so our clients/customers can enter in the service location?

    Hi bumpmedia,

Our plugin functions in that way that you are connecting employees with locations, not services. So if you assign one service to multiple employees and then, connect employees with different locations, your service will be provided on different locations. If you want your clients to search for services by location, you can use Front-end Booking Search shortcode (more about it you can read here), where they can choose the location from the filter.
