We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

I need to create a table where one column should contain an image with a link. Because of the changing data it would be ideal to link the table to a Google Spreadsheet, but I don't know the limits of this. Can Google Spreadsheet contain images with links and can they be imported into a WPDataTables table?

The images should link to the larger image inside the WP media library, and one column contains names that should link to WP pages on that site. I could add these links manually to the Google Spreadsheet, but I need to be sure if WPDataTables table is then able to import all this without breaking things.

I have no link yet to a site because I have to build it. Perhaps one column must contain the sum of two other columns, and I don't know if that is even possible with linking to a Google Spreadsheet or that this all means I have to import an excell file and manually change the behaviours of the columns.

    Hi Jack,
    Thank you for your inquire.

Easiest way to achieve this would be to create manual table because it will allow you to upload images directly into the table with media uploader without need to manually setup the links. We have really robust support for table editing so it should not be easier to maintain google spreadsheet table and import it our plugin. If you still want to manually setup the links you can find information about it in our - Documentation.

You can find info about using lightbox in image column at link above.

For calculation purposes we developed column type formula. You can find more information about it in - Documentation

For testing purpose we have sandbox website where you can see and test all plugin functionalities
