1. Similar to wpDataTables, could the wpDataCharts wizard allow the user to select a tab (i.e. .../ Formatting and preview / ...) rather than the current workflow of the 'NEXT >' button to the desired tab? This would be helpful when a user wants to modify one(1) element or tab in the chart.
2. Similar to wpDataTables, could the wpDataCharts wizard include a 'Save' button to allow the user to 'Finish' on any tab rather than the current workflow of every 'NEXT >' button to the end? This would be helpful when a user wants to modify one(1) element or tab in the chart.
3. Could the wpDataCharts wizard '< PREVIOUS' and 'NEXT >' buttons be moved to the top of each tab rather the bottom and the current UX of "bouncing" or "scrolling" up and down for each tab?
Sorry to disappoint you but unfortunately some of the suggestions below are not possible to achieve at the moment. We had some changes int he chart wizard to look like the table wizard and unfortunately there is no easy solution for this. The chart wizard is much more complicated then a table wizard and for now this logic and design is less painful and at other side they are working without issues.
So for now we do not have a plan to change it until we find a proper solution.
As for the Next and Previous buttons on the top of the chart wizard, something like this can be achieved with some code customization of the plugin.
