I'm using CSS to hide 5 columns on mobile, in order to improve the readability of the table.
However, when I'm viewing on mobile and I click the excel export, it also hides the columns in the resulting spreadsheet. On the excel spreadsheet that is generated, I need all columns to show.
From our documentation for Table tools you will see this notice:
These functionalities are based on a 3rd party HTML5 library. There are some limitations in this library we will emphasize for your awareness:
When you export tables with the wpDataTables plugin, please note that you can export values, but not formulas. WpDataTables doesn’t support exporting formulas, so a Formula column will be exported only with values; and any calculations of Average, MIN, MAX and Total will not be exported at all.
Also, note that you can’t export columns that are hidden: they will not be visible in any exporting or printing tool.
Thank you for your response, and I hope y'all enjoyed your holiday!
Do you have any thoughts about how I might be able to circumvent this? On mobile, the table is pretty unusable without the columns hidden. I tried using the built-in responsive tools you have but they didn't help very much.

Is there a way to fix this?
