Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Also point me to the table ID so I can take a look.
For those interested in this error the "solution" is to tick "don't search for glossary items on this post" in the CMTooltip section of the post or page editor. If this is done then the unwanted behaviour (turning the £ sign to ""&_pound;") does not occur.
Obviously it is not ideal. We will alert CreativeMinds to this issue - and see if there is anything they can do to address it.

HI Martin,
It looks like some other plugin is causing this issue.
Can you please deactivate plugins one by one so we can know which one is creating this issue.
Best regards.

Hi Bogodon
When I deactivate the popular CreativeMindsSolutions CM Tooltip Glossary Pro+ - there is no longer a issue.
Can we get them to both work at the same time?
Martin
Hi Martin,
Unfortunately I am not familiar with that plugin so I can not tell you precisely what should be changed.
My suggestion is to contact CreativeMindsSolution team and ask them why they convert the special characters like £ etc.
Best regards.

HI Martin,
Good job on finding the temporary solution.
I noted this plugin so we can install it on our side and hopefully we can find some proper solution if this issue is fixable on our side.
Best regards.
