If you have any custom coding in the plugins file our suggestion is to make a backup because every update will delete that code and unfortunately there is no option to revert that code back.

Can you please explain me more or send me some screenshot of the issue that you have.

Also please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

As I can see there are no errors on this page.

I can also see that you have some code in Custom CSS filed in wpdatatables settings and that code is not lost after the plugin update. 

The only code that is deleted after the update is when you change the files from the plugin core code.

To change the color of the table header you can use this CSS

.wpDataTablesWrapper table.wpDataTable thead tr th{
background : blue !important;
color: white !important;
}

As for the editing already created charts you can take a look at our documentation.

For customizing the charts you can take a look at wpDataChart Callbacks where you can see how any of the chart engines can be customized.

If you changed the plugin core files and if you do not make a backup of those files, all of the files will be lost after the update. 
If you are making some scripts, or some custom CSS or JS and save it in the wpdatatables settings page or directly on some page that code will not be lost.

Code example below that you send me for the positioning the print button is something that need some file changes ( the example is good and you can change the position of the button) and this will be overwritten by the next update.

If you have more issue then one may I kindly ask you to open a new ticket so we can keep "one issue per ticket" policy.
