I'm trying to change the color of the Google Charts gauge but no matter what I change on that page it doesn't affect the gauge at all. Seems like a bug.
We are located in Serbia and our working time is from 10:00 to 17:00 CET. business days.
There is no built in option that you can change colors of gauge chart.
You can check in our documentation about wpDataCharts callbacks . Every chart exposes a number of options that customize its look and feel. Charts usually support custom options appropriate to that visualization. This callbacks allows adding options that are available in Google Charts API, Highcharts API and Chart.js API
Sorry for misunderstanding, yes that settings for changing colors of the background and borders of the chart is not working properly. Thank you for reporting this. I will forward this to my team to investigate and it will be fixed in one of next updates.
Yes you can use it in "Custom JS" section in Settings or on page between script tags.
That's great Milan. I'll use script tags because when I paste and save into the "Custom JS" section it's gone when I refresh the page. Could be another bug. :)
When you insert wpdatachart callback in Custom JS it should be inserted without script tags. We are not sure why is not saved properly when you insert custom js code. Did you save changes before refreshing the page?
My suggestion is to use it on page with script tags, because you can use this callback for one chart only, if you have more charts on page and you what to customize all of them you have to make more wpdatachart callbacks, because you have to pass chart id for each of the chart.

HI Ken,

No problem. So all of the the highlighted options in the attached image don't do anything to the gauge? They don't seem to which is odd.
The callbacks will do the job though. Do you put that callback code into the "Custom JS" section in Settings? Thanks.
