Hi, I am trying to determine if this product has the functionality for a user to enter say an order date and a shipping date, and I can create a column or query to subtract the dates to find out the number of days (business or regular) it took to be fulfilled.
Does this product have the capability. I really would like to have the users type dates in so I can use it to manipulate for data in the future.
It is possible to enter the dates in editable wpDataTables. Editable wpDataTables can be Manual and MySQLtable types. . You can take a look at this page from our documentation Creating editable tables in WordPress using wpDataTables. Also you can take a look at all other pages from Front-end table editing section to see how data can be added to the tables.
After the users enter the date or any other data this data is stored in MySQL. After that you can create new MySQL wpDataTable and query the data that you need. I am not sure about your particular use case and it would be good to explain me in more details what you are trying to achieve.
You can try our sandbox site: Front-end & Back-end - you can find a fully functional version there to try out all plugin features.
