I've uploaded my xls tables many times, but I couldn't do it in the last weeks, even trying with different xls files. When I click on APPLY button, it shows this...
We check xlsx file and we notice that is huge(>18Mb) because of some formatting. When we remove that formatting we get file that is 45 kb and we made table with out any issue. Csv file we are not able to open in fact our system was crashed when we try it to open it. We suppose that also have some formatting that cause issues when you try to make wpdatatables. Try to make wpdatatables with file from attachment and let me know do you have still have a issue. Also please remove formatting from that csv and try with it also.
Finally I could upload the table deactivating & aactivating the plugin, as you told me. The only problem I have now is that the select box menus are not working (filters and number of records to show). Curiously, it does work at the backend view (admin) but not at frontend.
About the second issue, first check is it turn on option Include bootstrap in main settings of plugin. If the answer is yes and you still have issue you can try to include our bootstrap on the page changing some code in file:
wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/source/class.wdttools.php around line 799
You can try this but we can't promise that will not be some conflicts with theme bootstrap.
Also we notice that you are using some plugin that magnify html, can cause issues like this.
About the future questions:
When you have questions or issues which are not related to the title of the active ticket can you please open a new one and we will help you there. In that way, issues and questions which are related to different subjects will be in different tickets so other customers can find it easily.

My suggestion it to deactivate/activate wpdatatables plugin. That should be helpful.
You have option in tool that you use(we are using Libre office on Linux) to remove all formatting from sheet.
