I am trying to format the result provided by wpdatatables by formatting the shortcode with a colour and a font size. However it does not appear to obey this.
Sorry but I did not quite understand what are you trying to achieve.
Can you please describe me more and send me some more examples.
Also can you please tell me did you try to use Color and Font size from the wpdatatables settings page or you just want to apply some unique color and font size for specific table.
If I add it as HTML it gets formatted as I would expect.
I have a work around using HTML but just making you guys aware in case its a bug (with the latest wordpress) as I used to be able to do this through a text box.
I am trying to format the result provided by wpdatatables by formatting the shortcode with a colour and a font size. However it does not appear to obey this.
Example that does not work:
Text section with the below
<strong><span style="font-size: 30px;">[wpdatatable_avg table_id=3 col_id=23]</span></strong>
Example that does work:
HTML Section with:
<center><font size=30 color=white><b>[wpdatatable_avg table_id=3 col_id=23]</b></font></center>
It seems the short code takes the item out of the div into a div of its own and ignore formatting. See attached screenshot.
I have another deployment on which this works fine and both are using 2.1. Wondering if someone has seen this before?

When I use short code to display a value:
Example: [wpdatatable_avg table_id=3 col_id=23]
I want to change the font to make it bold and the size of the value returned. As a result I do the following in a text box:
<strong><span style="font-size: 30px;">[wpdatatable_avg table_id=3 col_id=23]</span></strong>
This formatting gets ignored.
If I add it as HTML it gets formatted as I would expect.

Hi Cian,
Thank you for your feedback.
I will forward this to my team so we can test it out for our upcoming release.
Best regards.
