We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I have a table that we are using for memberships that is a SQL table. I wanted to be able to have users sign in and create/update their own data. Which I have it setup and it is working wonderfully.
But our project manager asked if there was a way that we could just have a simple form (for new members) that would feed into the members table.
Is this something the form add-ons would be able to do?
The members are not very technical and for new ones she thought it would be good to just have them fill out the form without having to register and login to edit their own data.
Eventually when they renew their membership they will need to login and update their information, but for now this will get them started.
Hope this makes sense!
Rhonda
Hi Rhonda Stark,
Thank you for the inquiry.
"But our project manager asked if there was a way that we could just have a simple form (for new members) that would feed into the members table.

- No, Formidable Forms integration for wpDataTables add-on is just a connection between Formidable Form plugin and wpDataTable. To be able to have form on the front-end where users can add some data, you will have to have Formidable Form plugin.
Unfortunately with this add-on, wpDataTables that are created from Formidable Form entries can't be editable. You can read more about this add-on on this documentation page - Formidable Forms Integration: Integrating with the WordPress form plugin.
OK .. I didn't think so but wanted to make sure I was reading it correctly.
Thanks!
