We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Calculation Function Shortcodes

Hello, I am about to purchase this awesome plugin, but just have a few questions beforehand.

I was trying the sandbox, and the most important functionality that I need is the calculation functions(MIN and MAX). We can use the shortcodes to display the MIN and MAX values on any page of the site, but the only problem is when I use the shortcode it shows the result as: "MAX = 431" or "MIN = 100" etc.

Can we modify how the shortcodes output the data so it only displays the result without the "MAX = " & "MIN = " part? I only need 431 and 100 etc. to display when I use the shortcode.

    Hope you understand. Thank you.

    Hi Vikalp,
    Thank you for the inquiry.

It is possible to change these labels on wpDataTables settings page, but unfortunately it is not possible to be empty. You can take a look at this page - http://sandbox.wpdatatables.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpdatatables-settings under these settings:

    • Sum functions label
    • Average functions label
    • Minimum functions label
    • Maximum functions label

    Thank you for replying.

I see, so there is no way to display only the data without the suffix..

Can you please tell is there a way to extract only the content of a particular cell of table and display it on a separate page?

    Thank you.

    Hi Vikalp,

"I see, so there is no way to display only the data without the suffix.."

    - No, there should be at least one character.

"Can you please tell is there a way to extract only the content of a particular cell of table and display it on a separate page?"

    - Unfortunately no, this is possible just for SUM, AVG, MIN and MAX features.

Thanks for clarifying. This can be closed.

And if possible please add these features in future updates.
