Is there any way to remove the extra white space around a Google Chart(column)? Basically, the area in the red boxes below.
HI awoodwell,
Thank you for your purchase.
Can you please tell me is this is the chart that you want to remove the white space ( attachment)
Because I can see that there is a difference between your chart in the attachment and the chart on the page. ( the chart on the page does not have that white space)
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

For the purposes of this ticket, pls refer to the attachment. I'd like to remove that white space. On the live page, I just made the background light grey as I thought that looked better than a bunch of white space
Hi Aaron,
Can you please tell me did you try to set the width of the chart from the chart wizard. ( attachment)
Best regards.

No, it's set to responsive. So theoretically, it should fill it's container. Problem is it's leaving about 5% on the right and 10% on the left as blank space
Hi Aaron,
The libraries for the charts that we are using ( Google, Highcharts, chart.js ) have their own setup for the containers and also the theme have some setup on their side when adding elements ( in this case charts ) to containers and because of that you can see that empty white space.
For testing purposes can you please try to change the theme and tell me the result.
Best regard.

I temporarily changed the theme, and this had no effect. I think the answer lies here, with the Google Charts API call:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/9661456/remove-padding-or-margins-from-google-charts
So it would seem I'm stuck with the left and right margins unless the plugin is updated to allow the user to change the plot area as a percentage of the chart area. Google allows it, would TMS be willing to make this modification? Seems like it would be useful to a lot of folks.
Hi Aaron,
I just spoke with my college which implemented charts for our plugin and unfortunately the chart spacing can not be changed as the all chart have the fixed width for the container.
Also I will send your suggestion to my team and hopefully we can implement this feature for some of the future updates of the plugin.
Best regards.
