Dear,
I'm trying to create a table relationship between a table A with fields 'name' and 'sir name'. From another table B, I try to populate a new column 'rider' with a selection box from Table A. It works fine when I select the 'name' OR 'sir name' field.
Now, is it possible to CONCAT the 'name' + 'sir name' columns to be used in the selection box???
Many thanks and kind regards,
Gerald.
Hi Gerald,
Thank you for your purchase.
Unfortunately that is not possible with built in features of plugin. One more important notice is that editing for columns that are configured as foreign keys is also supported out of the box. The only limitation is that the only possible editor input type for such columns is the single-value selectbox, as the options are limited with what the remote table contains.
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic

Hi Milan,
Many thanks for your reply. The wpDataTables tool is already very nice and easy to use. Do you plan any feature update for populating a column by concatenating two other columns? For Name and SirName it would be very nice as it is very often used. Having that from a third next column would be nice.
Thanks again and kind regards,
Gerald.
Hi Gerald,
Thank you for your suggestion.
I will forward this to my development team to think about this like new feature in future.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic
