We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
For small datasets, front-end sorting and filtering is much faster without server-side processing. Hence it would be nice to be able to set server-side processing to activate automatically for tables once they pass a certain number of rows.
Hi maevapn,
Thank you for your purchase.
In file:
wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/source/class.wpdatatable.php around line1888 you can find this code
if (count($res_dataRows) > 2000) { $this->enableServerProcessing(); }
In this case when the table have more that 2000 rows the server side processing will turn on, so you can change that number to your desire.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Thanks, Bogdan. I got it to work.
You meant to say "you can add this code" rather than "you can find this code".
That line number is bound to change. For future reference, let's add that the code needs to be placed above where it says:
// Sending the array to arrayBasedConstruct
return $this->arrayBasedConstruct($res_dataRows, $odtParameters);
I guess there's no hook nearby to make the change update-proof?
Maybe one could be added in the future.
HI maevapn,
You should have this line of code in the file below. Can you please tell me which version of our plugin do you use.
Unfortunately there is not hook that I can suggest you for now, but if you have any idea or suggestion do not hesitate to write here.
Best regards.
