I have a table that I created with the output looking like Excel. It looks great. One issue though is it adds in an extra column of numbers (1st column) in the Excel view. I don't know what causes it, but I can't seem to get rid of it because it isn't viewable.
If you look at the table below in the standard viewer, this does not happen. Is there a setting I am missing? I didn't see anything in the documentation about that, or in the faq's.
The second issue is updating. The second table has some info updated from the first. I saw that minify can cause an issue with the rewrite, so I uploaded the files using ftp, in hopes of avoiding it. The customer hose site this plugin will go into wants this function to work as he will have about 20 csv's to upload a day. If this site is built without minify/cache, etc, will uploading the csv's then work?
He bought the plugin so we could test it before he goes ahead and builds his site. Will this work for him if there are no cache/minify plugins installed?
The last column of the table ( when the table is Excel like) is always empty. We are using Handsontable engine for excel like tables and that is how they are working at the moment so it is not possible to remove that last row.
You can find all of the information about difference between standard and excel like tables in our documentation.
As for the other question:
If you have more then one issue in the ticket can I kindly ask you to open a new one and keep "one issue per ticket" as that will be more efficient and our support agents can help you faster.
The wdt_ID column is automatically added when the table is set to be editable ( manual tables are editable by default and even the standard view table have the wdt_id column and that column is hidden, you can see that when you click on the yellow button in the table settings, attachment)
The data for that column and lat row is empty and that is something that I explained you below in my last reply. That is the logic and the implementation of the Handso table library so the excel view tables will always have the last row empty so the users can just click on it and add a data. That is the main reason why the Excel like tables support drag and drop and bulk adding data in the table.

Hi Bogdan
I'll make separate tickets. Thanks for the tip.
The extra row that is added in the excel-like view is the 1st column, not the last. Sorry I wasn't clear about that!
Bill
HI Bill,
As I can see from the provided link the last column in excel view table is empty ( attachment)
Correct me if I am wrong.
Best regards.

Hi Bogdan. I've put a screenshot up so you can see what I am talking about.
