tried debugging, still not working :(. this is the reason I bought the plugin. everything else is great though. might have to do with non numeric character in the init row?
This error refers that the file from which you are trying to create a table is not properly created but I managed to create a table from your file ( attachment)
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Quite difficult I reckon, because I can parse that sheet no problem via other tools. there must be some prerequisite in your current method potentially? From a user end perspective , as long as I have 'rows' and 'columns' it shouldn't matter about the data/cell content unless it's a google>wpDataTables issue in which case the problem lies with your software. In saying that, your example spreadsheet parses fine. Maybe it would be worth debugging this google issue? I need this to work as the spreadsheet will be dynamic and it's essential that any changes are readily available on the website without admin privileges. I've tried a lot of variations and I am able to get your specific spreadsheet (supplied in the tut) to work in a few different scenarios, but this is not ideal. the plugin should ingest the data and then spit any specific errors which can be rectified by the user on a per column/row basis, the error checking should be manual to a degree. asides from that everything else kicks heaps of ass, really great software!
I understand you completely and sorry for any inconvenience.
The strange issue is that your file is working on our side as you can see from the attachment.
May I try to debug it further on your site and maybe add some fixes to see what is happening with this spreadsheet. I will need your permission to change some of our plugin files.
I added some code changes that we implemented for the next update of the plugin, so for now you have the updated version and logic for the Google spreadsheet data. Issue was with the multi line cells from the spreadsheet and now you should be able to create a table from it.
No need to worry, this will be included in the next update of our plugin but you can use it now.
