I wanted to see if you could use a short code as the default value in a search field. I have a wpDataTable that is non-editable where the user can apply filters to search the data. I currently have a filter for the user_id and would like the default value to the the current_user_id.
I would then use CSS to hid this search field and the result would be only their current users data.
