Hi. I already use wpdatatables for two years or some, with an input from an sql table. Now I'm trying to move the data to a Google Spreadsheet. I cleaned the spreadsheet and linked it to a new table, but I received the error below:
Actually I can do the table without any problems also. The error appears when I try to make any change or configure any column. When I click on the Apply button the alert gives me the error as the image shows.
I'm using version 2.1 of wpdatatables. I also tried to link to other tables and it worked fine. The problem seems to be with this data. I copied the data to another sheet and it gave me the error once more.
Can you please open Inspect element->Console and try to reproduce that issue and if some errors shows in Console please take a screenshot of the screen so we can see it? Thank you
(4) Click in any Column Settings button, do some change and then click on Apply button -- or simply click on Apply button after the Success alert -- then the Error appears
That is: I can link the sheet to the table with success, but I can't do any changes in view or something that the error pops up...
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Also pioint me to the table id where you have this issue so we can investigate.
We visit your site and we see the issue. Also we notice that you have more wpdatatables plugins in plugin directory. Can you please remove it, because there is a chance that there is some conflict if you have more wpdatatables on one site. Don't delete them throw wordpress plugin directory because if you made some tables with that version of plugin it will be deleted.
Done. I deleted the two older folders. Immediately after, I could configure the IMG field on the table to show images. But in the sequence the error appeared again and again. So I'm assuming it isn't due to a conflict of versions -- at least exclusively
Can you please provide me a FTP credentials so we can debug it and find what cause the issue? You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
We found what cause the issue and fix with some code. You can check on website. This will be included in next update so you don't have to worry about changing code again.
Hi. I already use wpdatatables for two years or some, with an input from an sql table. Now I'm trying to move the data to a Google Spreadsheet. I cleaned the spreadsheet and linked it to a new table, but I received the error below:
Column 'content' cannot be null
I already double checked the spreadsheet (which is published here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hBXejeFBPMGAhKx028zAgcgTje5ln35l75npiI7Mfjs/edit#gid=1438361153) and it do not contain any null columns or values. So where am I doing any mistake?
In addition, I've read that since version 1.7 null cells were accepted. But I'm really confused with this error
Hi contoaberto,
Thank you for your purchase.
We don't have permission to access the spreadsheet. We send request to you to enable access so we can see the file and investigate. Thank you
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic

No error shown in the Console
This is the step to step of what I am doing:
(1) WpDataTables > Add New
(2) Create a table linked to an existing data source. > Next
(3) Google Spreadsheet > paste the link https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hBXejeFBPMGAhKx028zAgcgTje5ln35l75npiI7Mfjs/edit#gid=1438361153 and click Apply (Success alert here)
(4) Click in any Column Settings button, do some change and then click on Apply button -- or simply click on Apply button after the Success alert -- then the Error appears
That is: I can link the sheet to the table with success, but I can't do any changes in view or something that the error pops up...
