I tried to add 5 variables for the report generator and when I ask for the report, the webserver (apache) goes 100% busy!  I tried it with your sandbox, and it did it too!

If you try it on the above page, I will have to restart the apache!

    [reportbuilder id=1 text="Download report" class="btn"]
    [reportbuilder id=1 element="varInput" name="customer" text="Please enter the customer" default="" class=""]
    [reportbuilder id=1 element="varInput" name="preparer" text="Please enter the preparer" default="" class=""]
    [reportbuilder id=1 element="varInput" name="preparationnotes" text="Please enter the preparationnotes" default="" class=""]
    [reportbuilder id=1 element="varInput" name="sourcenote" text="Please enter the sourcenote" default="" class=""]
    [reportbuilder id=1 element="varInput" name="collectiondate" text="Please enter the collectiondate" default="" class=""]
    [wpdatatable id=22]

    Hi Alistair,
    Thank you for the purchase.

What type of report are you using Single file or  ZIP with multiple files for each row. Probably you server is not so powerful and you have a lot of data (around 600 rows). Can you try to enable follow table filtering for the report and to try to show just 10 rows at time in the table?

    Hello Milos

Thank you for this reply.  I have fixed the problem.  There was something wrong with my .xlsx file.  Everything looked all right, but when I used it with the report generator, the web server went crazy!  When I remade the .xlsx file from scratch, it worked just fine.

So, you can close the ticket.  Best regards.
