Unfortunately integer type does not support null values in the cells when they are opened for editing. It will automatically add a 0 value as it is default value for the integer.
I also asked my team about this to see if it is possible to deliver the null value to an integer while editing.
I will get back to you when I got an answer from them.
Sorry for late response, it took us some time to discuss about this.
Unfortunately html5 input type=number (that we are using) doesn't work with empty value and it is not possible to have empty value because the default value for integer column is 0 and not null.
One workaround is to make that column to be string but it will break the sum average or any other mathematical function that is applied to integer column.
I have an editable table with several integer fields that contain null values.
However, when after editing and saving a record, all of these integer fields now have a 0 rather than null, which messes up the Average calculation.
Please advise.
Hi jjanicik,
Thank you for your purchase.
Can you please send me the link of that table so I can take a look.
Best regards.

It would be nice to have this changed so that the data entered and the average summation would be accurate.
Thanks, Bogdan.

Any word back from the developers on this one yet?
