We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I have installed and activated the wpDataTables wordpress plugin to evaluate the product. After activation, any admin page comes up in greyed out appearance and a circling image appears in the middle of the screen (like a wait icon) but it is not finishing the waiting. No admin screen appears.
This reads as version 2.0.2 lite
Hi James Schrage,
Please open a ticket in wpDataTables category with your purchase key and one of our support agents will provide you help. This category is intended just for pre-purchase questions.
Milos,
I am evaluating the wpDataTables Lite version and so this is a pre-purchase question. It is failing to work at all.
After activation, any admin page comes up in greyed out appearance and a circling image appears in the middle of the screen (like a wait icon) but it is not finishing the waiting. No admin screen appears.

Hi James Schrage,
Please try to deactivate all your plugins and to change your theme to see maybe if there is a conflict with the some other product.
Milos,
I am not comfortable with doing that on this server.
Jim
Hi James Schrage,
Maybe you can create test environment that will be duplicate of the production website and test there if something of this would help.
Milos,
I have a test environment on which I have installed the Lite version of wpDataTables and I am seeing the same behavior.
Jim
Hi James Schrage,
You can try on the test environment to disable all plugins or to change the theme to see if there is a conflict. I need to login to your website to be able to resolve the issue, but unfortunately we are not providing support here for Lite version.
Milos,
I will try those on the test environment, but you should realize that if the Lite version won't work most webmasters probably won't buy the non-Lite product.

After the update now on new version the do not allow duplicate values option is missing. It was nice on older version I had used that option so people do not end up creating duplicate records but in new version I am unable to do that and people are end up creating duplicate values which is causing a huge problem
@James Schrage Can you please check if you have installed cURL on your server? Probably this is the reason why plugin is not working on your website.
@Josh As I see that you have already purchased the plugin, can you please open a new ticket in wpDataTables category and one of our support agents will provide you help?
Milos,
Still trying to confirm cURL, but I see these by pressing the wordpress debug javascript on the dashboard top bar.

Milos,
Further discussion with the hosting vendor indicated that CURL is enabled.

I'm seeing the exact same thing as James Schrage- I can't get any of the admin pages to work at all. I am trying to implement this on a working site, so I don't feel like trying to identify if there is an incompatibility with something by turning things off. I can tell you that I'm using Woocommerce and the modern tribe events, events pro, event ticket plugins.
Gotta move on to another table plugin, alas.

Hi ironandsteel,
Can you check do you have installed cURL on your server? Also can you try to change the theme so you can see if there is a conflict with your current theme?
