I've encountered a problem after updating to the latest build. Initially I had the error that prevented editing due to caching - so I removed all caching from the site. I was then able to create a new table, to which I added a single row to check it was working. All seemed OK.
However, whenever I try to edit a row, or add a new row, I get the error message Error! There was an error trying to update the row! Error: Incorrect table name"
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Also point me to the table ID so I can take a look.
Error! There was an error trying to insert a new row! Error: Table 'draperhi_wp930._1' doesn't exist
Can you please check in your database does that table exists because this error refers that table does not exist at all in database and there is no way to add new entries in it.
I also created wpdatatable support table on your site so can you please check if adding and editing is working.
I am assuming that the table you checked was the one labelled "practices for sale - master do not use", which was the second one. This is a duplicate of the of the "practices for sale" which exhibits a slightly different issue, although I suspect that one error caused the other.
I tested the table you created and it appears to be fine, even when I duplicated it. However, I have gone ahead and created a new version of the table my client needs (now called "Practices for Sale") and I am experiencing the same issue as before: I cannot add additional rows.
The structure I created is shown in the attachment.
I don't know if it is related, but I had attempted to add a cell content prefix of "£" to the amount cell, but the form will not allow me to click on "apply" - only to cancel.

Attempting to edit a different table results in : Error! There was an error trying to insure a new row! Error: Table 'xxxxx_xxxxx._1' doesn't exist.
The original table was a newly created manual table and this second message comes when I attempted to edit a duplicated version.

D'oh! It does now....
It's terrible when you get a phone call in the middle of doing something important.
HI Simon,
No problem at all.
Ok now I can see the issue.
When I try to add entry i get this error
Error! There was an error trying to insert a new row! Error: Table 'draperhi_wp930._1' doesn't exist

Hi Bogdan
No, there isn't a wp930_.1 table - I never created one. All there are are :
wpkn_wpdatatable_1
wpkn_wpdatatable_3
wpkn_wpdatatable_4
wpkn_wpdatatable_5
wpkn_wpdatatable_5_1

Hi Simon,
I used for testing purposes table Practices for sale 2018.
But i saw a strange thing, when you enable editing for any of the tables, adding and editing new entries are working.
Can you please check that.
Also can you please deactivate and active the plugin just in case.
Changing display text after and before should now cause issue like this.
Best regards.

It seems to be working at the moment, thank you. However, I am still unable to change the cell prefix whilst under Safari. I can with Firefox though.
Thanks for your help
Simon
Hi Simon,
Can you please tell me did you test it out with more browsers like Chrome for example.
Also can you please check if the private browsing on Safari is turned off.
Best regards.
