Cant work this

    I bought this plugin a year ago and couldnt get it to work. I just bought it again because it the new version and from the start I cant access the settings screen (its just stuck and spinning).  I am really frustrated as I've paid twice and still nothing.  I've disabled all the other plugins and have checked the system requirements.  I used the upload plugin tool in Wp to add and activate, but I tried via FTP and same thing happens.

    When I check the console as its trying to open anything (setting, add table etc.) it shows this:

    Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(...).animateFadeOut is not a function
        at common.js?ver=4.9.1:234
        at dispatch (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,moxiejs,plupload&ver=4.9.1:3)
        at r.handle (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,moxiejs,plupload&ver=4.9.1:3)

    r.handle @ load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,moxiejs,plupload&ver=4.9.1:3

    Which is referencing this function in your plugin:

    /**
     * Hide preloader on window load
     */
    jQuery(window).load(function(){
        jQuery('.wdt-preload-layer').animateFadeOut();
    });

    HI Tammy,
    Thank you for your purchase.

    Can you please tell me do you have installed curl extension on server?

     If the answer is yes, please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Kind Regards,

    Isidora Markovic

    Hi Tammy,

    We found that you have conflict with that child theme. If you change theme wpdatatables will work.

    The site has already been customized for that theme, so that stinks.

    Do you have a theme you recommend that wont interfere?

    Thanks

    Tammy

    Hi Tammy,

    We just try all themes except the child theme and wpdatatables is working. Can you please clear browser cache and try again.

    That did the trick, thanks! Going to make this reply public so other people can see if they have the same trouble with the settings pages not loading.  Is this issue specific to using any child theme?  Or just the one I was using?

    ** If you have the same issue: There was a conflict with the theme I was using in Wordpress, try another and make sure to clear browser cache and reload.

    Thanks Milan, much appreciated.

    Hi Tammy,

    You are welcome.

    If the have some custom boostrap file may be some conflict, but it's not always the case. Because we are using also bootstrap.

    If you have any more issues feel free to open a new ticket, we will gladly help.

    We'd greatly appreciate it if you could take a minute and leave a review on CodeCanyon on this link. Thanks!
