I'm using Pods as my custom post type and attempting to generate a data table for hike data using the 3rd option (generate a query to WordPress database). I currently have two rows. My experience has been that I can get a table generated in under a minute if I select only 7 fields. When I try 8 (the 8th one has the same datatype as the 7th one), I give up after 30 min. (I'm running locally on a laptop with an i5-25 processor and 4GB memory.) Eventually I'll need 10 fields for this table. I'll also need to be able to create a schedule that has foreign keys for hike, group, and user.
Is there a field limit for a query to the WordPress database? Is there a conflict with WP version 4.9.1 (the latest)? Is it possible to get a copy of the query that your software generates? Any suggestions?
I'm running WordPress locally on my laptop using xampp (no external server). I have not installed mod_security. Where do I locate the console log you mentioned? The only error message that I've seen from wpdatatables is in red that says it wasn't able to save the table (this is after I give up after 30 min and click on another place on my dashboard).

HI Marilyn,
Thank you for your purchase.
Can you please tell me are there any errors in the console log and also do you have installed mod_security on your server.
Best regards.

By the way, I haven't yet seen any auto updates for your plugin.
Hi Marilyn,
Can you please send me the screenshot of that error so I can take a look.
Auto update for the 2.1.1 version will be released soon.
Also please tell me is there any error in the server log when you inspect the page ( attachment)
Best regards.
