I am trying to display a page in the admin section of my site. I'm adding a data table programmatically using. The table is displayed, but when i click on new to add new data, instead of the popup modal form, the form is displayed underneath the table. My assumption was that the table will behave the same way as it would on the frontend. Any help would be appreciated.
I have created a multiple tables. To make it easier for editors to access a specific table, I have added a menu item link to the admin menu, so they don't have to click on wpDataTables, go through all the tables to find the table they'll be editing.
When I click on the table control +New, to add a new record, the form doesn't popup like it does on the wpDataTables preview page. It shows up under the table. Seems like some javascript files might not be loaded or could it be something else i'm missing.
My theme has this function. which displays the table, when user clicks on the "Benchmarks" menu item link
Unfortunately our plugin is not designed to work in the backend like this and that is why some of the features are not displaying like they are displaying in our table editor and live preview.
Due to our support policy, achieving something like this requires some code customization which unfortunately is not included in regular support. Included support covers help with bugs and general inquiries for the plugin features, but not writing custom code. As you're developing some custom solution if you need our assistance we can offer you our paid customization service.
The right top “X” button is not working as the "CANCEL" button.
When we use the right top "X" button, it really get out of the popup without saving, BUT occurs an intresting thing:
When we just edit or new another row again, the editor popup doesn´t show the data.
See the screens... (1) the normal popup editor (2) the popup editor after I have used the right top "x" button (instead of the CANCEL button) and ask for edit again
To resolve, we have to update the page (F5) and then, the edition comes normal again.
