When I have created a table based on a MySQL query, I dont have the buttons available to manually add columns. I would like to create tables which are a combination of data from a MySQL query, and manually added data and data from other tables based on a foreign key.
You can see from the screenshot that the Add new column button isn't visible.
Unfortunately only way to add columns wit the button is when the table is created manually when you use the 2nd option form wpdatatables creating wizard.
Can you please send me the link where I can login to your WP because when I try to add /wp-admin or /wp-login to the site provided below it returns that the page does not exists.
I want to be able to turn on Front End editing on the table Merged Student Info and Objectives. In the editing table, I need to specify which table should be updated with the edits. The table which is generated by the SQL query does not exist as a table itself in my SQL database - only the SQL statement itself is stored in the table wp_knupcznert_wpdatables
Does that make more sense?
The table is different from the attachment. Can you please login to see the table I am talking about?

Hi Kristin,
As I can see you can change the MySQL table name for editing ( attachment) for the wpdatatable ID 1.
Are the table settings same like from attachment.
Best regards.

Hi Kristin,
When you make a table editable in database our plugin will automatically create table that will be used for editing.
In this case it is wpdatatable_11, that table should be visible in your database.
Can you please tell me does it appears in your database.
Best regards.
