We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hello.

I'm thinking about purchase the plugin, but first I need some info.

It is totally necessary for me to validate input fields when an user creates or edits a row in the frontend. For example, a field called "Age" may not be filled with negative numbers and many other validations.

I would like to know if it is possible to do these things with your plugin, and how should I do this.

    Thanks.

    Hi JUAN CARLOS,
    Thank you for the inquiry.

Unfortunately something like this is not possible out of the box with built-in features but it could be achieved with some small jQuery customization.

You can try our sandbox site: Front-end & Back-end - you can find a fully functional version there to try out all plugin features.

    Thanks for your quick answer.

In order to customize with jQuery, how should I make it? I mean, should I include de code into any php file in the plugin?

I have seen in the front-end that a window pop-up when the user edits a row. The jQuery customization should be coded in this site, isn't it?

Do you know if its possible using any other forms plugin (Gravity forms or Formidable forms)? I'm a bit lost with it...I have not experience with wordpress.

    Hi JUAN CARLOS,

Probably something like that can be achieved with Formidable Forms or Gravity Forms plugin. I am not 100% sure, but the best practice is to check by yourself on their demo sites.

If you want to preview later entries from one of these form plugins in wpDataTables you can use Formidable Forms integration for wpDataTables or Gravity Forms integration for wpDataTables add-ons. Please note that for these add-ons you'll have to have installed wpDataTables and Form plugin (Formidable or Gravity) together.
