You can replace existing excel file in "Input file path or URL" on "DATA SOURCE" tab of table setting, and wpdatatables will made table based on the new excel file with same table id like with previous excel file.
My suggestion from previous post is for the tables that you made from Creating tables linked to existing data source, but it's not possible with tables that you made by Importing table data to WordPress.
Creating tables linked to existing data source, which means you will upload the file, initialize the table, and then it will be read every time on page load. Then you can overwrite this file to update the data or you can replace file and make new table with same id.
Importing table data to WordPress. Initial data will be read and imported from the provided file , but the table won’t be synched with the source file as with the first option, e.g. if you change something in file , your wpDataTable data will stay the same because the data will be already imported to the database. There is no option to insert new file, because wpdatatables make table in database from imported file.
How can I upload a similar excel file in a table id that I already created? So I won't have to change the id´s in the pages?
Thanks!
