We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Is there a way to set the colors of a grouping row?
Hi Mark,
Thank you for your purchase.
Yes you can change that by adding this CSS rule:
You can insert it in Custom wpDataTables CSS under the "Custom JS AND CSS" in main settings of wpdatatables (if you want to be applied for all tables) or directly on the page between <style></style> tags(if you want to customize only one table)
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic

Milan,
Thanks. It works but only on certain rows.
Here are the contents of "Custom JS AND CSS" in main settings of wpdatatables:
.wpdt-c label {
display: inline-block;
max-width: 100%;
margin-bottom: 5px;
font-weight: bold;
color: white; }
tbody tr td.group {
background-color: red;
color: green;
}
The screen shot wpDataTable-Def.png shows the table edit mode.
Screen shot wpDataTable-Live.png shows the same table on the site.
I have looked everywhere to see if I have code that would override the tbody tr td.group settings you provided. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Mark
Hi Mark,
Can you try to add !important for every rule like this:
If that not help, can you please send me a link of that page where is that table so we can investigate. Thank you.
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic

Hi Milan,
Yes, this worked. I should have thought of it. I think I was avoiding it because there's so much talk about how !important is bad but I am the end user here so I think it will be OK.
Mark
