Hi,
I have a table with a column 'state' which is visible for users but not editable. When I insert new data sets, I get an error saying 'Error. State field cannot be empty.'
I want the value to be set to 0 always. This is defined as the standard value in MySQL server.
Any ideas?
Thank you.
Johannes
Hi Johannes,
Thank you for your purchase.
You can set value to be set to 0 in "Predefined value" on EDITING" tab in column settings.(attachment)
You can set "Editor rules" on Administrator in "EDITING" tab of table settings, so you will be only one that can edit the table.
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic

Hi Milan,
thank you for the help. This works, but it's not quite what I meant. I would like the table to be editable for users. Only the column 'state' shouldn't, it should default to '0', as defined in SQL server.
Hi Johannes,
You can set value to be set to 0 in "Predefined value" on EDITING" tab in column settings and then hide that column from editor with CSS. (attachment)
So all users when edit table will see just columns that need to edit, and the column that you set with predefined values 0 will always have value 0.
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic
