I installed the wpDataTables plugin to create a 4 column set of data, where we allow visitors to sort one column. The tables search works fine, but runs slow. We enable the lazy load option n the tables run fast **but** the search feature now searches all 4 columns, when we only owan one particular column to be searched.
Can you help us, as we love the plugin, but want to use the lazy load **and** only enable one column out of 4 to be searchable.
Search is the global search, so it's finding everywhere irrespective of whether you have turned on the lazy load option or not. If you want to filter only one column, you have to turn off option "Add a filter for this column" in "FILTERING" tab on column settings for all columns that you don't want to filter.
Then you can use option "Filters in a form" on "SORTING AND FILTERING" tab of table settings to show filter above the table.
And final you can remove global search field by CSS code.
Can you please change the previous post to private, because it's public ticket and everyone can see this?
My suggestion is to check with Envato support is your purchase key valid.
Plugin should notify you about new versions automatically and update itself if you enter your Purchase Code from CodeCanyon to the plugin’s settings page. If not,our suggestion is to update the plugin manually by following this steps:

You can see the live version of our table here --> http://nicecarplate.com/
*** Please note that we only have the number column enabled for search. For some reason the price column is searched when lazy load is enabled.
Please help.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Philip,
Thank you for your purchase.

Hi Milan,
I would like to upgrade the plugin now. It looks like our plugin was never properly validated.
Our license code used for the plugin is below. Is it still valid?
Envato Name - philpolaski
Secret API Key - 938d3kolzb47ohjxkudzpram5ern4ncq
Purchase Code - 312cbee9-a97c-40b1-99de-f61b19f50b57
Thank You.
Philip

Plugin should notify you about new versions automatically and update itself if you enter your Purchase Code from CodeCanyon to the plugin’s settings page. If not,our suggestion is to update the plugin manually by following this steps:
1.) Download zip from this link
2.) Use FTP to open /yourwordpressfolder/wp-content/plugins
3.) Delete existing wpdatatables folder.
4.) Upload previously downloaded wpdatatables folder through FTP to plugins folder (unzip it)
5.) Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section.
6.) Deactivate wpDataTables, and then activate it again.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT delete the old version from WP-admin (by clicking “Delete” in the plugins page) if you don’t want to lose all your tables!
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic

Hi Philip,
Can you please change the previous post where you post purchase key to private, because it's public ticket and everyone can see this and use it?
As we are using Envato as the marketplace for selling the product, their licensing policies apply: https://codecanyon.net/licenses/terms/regular
Their policy in general is: one license is per one domain or project.
If your multiple sites are sub-sites of the same domain, and apply to the same project, you can use one license.
If these are installed on different domains, and are different projects, you would need a separate license per each.

Isidora Markovic
