    Hi

    1) I have a site running a table press table but as it's over 3000 rows long was wondering if there would be a speed increase by using this plugin? The slow loading page is http://www.cardiff.guru/whats-on-in-cardiff/ It works but not ideal.

    2) Also it's an events based website and due to the technicalities of getting the data, I decided to use a database that I then export an excel sheet and then import to the table press table. As it is date related, each day I have to manually go in and delete the past dates. The question is - on the table filtering is it possible to have the table only show event dates that are equal or later to the CURRENTDATE i.e. I wouldn't have to go in each day and make the deletions of past dates.

So if eventdate >= TODAY then show.

Thankyou for your help in advance.

    • Could you please tell me what is the source for the data in the table? If it's file based you can try to import it to our sandbox website  Front-end & Back-end  and test it

    2) So if eventdate >= TODAY then show.

    • Unfortunately this is not possible with built in functionalities. It could be done but it requires code customization. If you are skillful with code you can try to create it yourself or we can offer you to hire one of our developers to help you with it

Thankyou for the answers, I tried to upload my excel file but when I browse and try to upload it I have thiis message from the sandbox:  Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2017/10. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    Hi Ian,

It looks like that directory actually was not writable by the server. Thank you for reporting this and please try again. It should be fixed now

Thanks for your help. I can confirm this has worked. For other parties interested in this thread I can confirm that the table had over 3500 rows of dates and text, four columns wide. It loads virtually instantly - about 3 seconds as opposed to 20 seconds using another plugin. Marvelous, will be purchasing soon.

Thread can be closed - very happy. thanks again.
