When setting up the columns to use the selectbox filter with mysql my screen does not show the tab approach shown in the documentation. My screen just shows a column for each field in the table with all of the attributes listed below the column name. I want to use mysql query for the selection options in the dropdown menu.
I just completed the update and received the errors shown below when I went to the first page. I am running 4.8.2 of WordPress.
Uncaught TypeError: $(...).tooltip is not a function at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (common.js?ver=4.8.2:27) at i (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,underscore,backbone,wp-util,wp-backbone,media-models,plupload,wp-plupload,jquery-ui-core,jquery&load[]=-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable,mediaelement,wp-mediaelement,media-views,quicktags&ver=4.8.2:2) at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,underscore,backbone,wp-util,wp-backbone,media-models,plupload,wp-plupload,jquery-ui-core,jquery&load[]=-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable,mediaelement,wp-mediaelement,media-views,quicktags&ver=4.8.2:2) at Function.ready (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,underscore,backbone,wp-util,wp-backbone,media-models,plupload,wp-plupload,jquery-ui-core,jquery&load[]=-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable,mediaelement,wp-mediaelement,media-views,quicktags&ver=4.8.2:2) at HTMLDocument.K (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,underscore,backbone,wp-util,wp-backbone,media-models,plupload,wp-plupload,jquery-ui-core,jquery&load[]=-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable,mediaelement,wp-mediaelement,media-views,quicktags&ver=4.8.2:2) common.js?ver=4.8.2:234 Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(...).animateFadeOut is not a function at common.js?ver=4.8.2:234 at dispatch (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,underscore,backbone,wp-util,wp-backbone,media-models,plupload,wp-plupload,jquery-ui-core,jquery&load[]=-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable,mediaelement,wp-mediaelement,media-views,quicktags&ver=4.8.2:3) at r.handle (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,underscore,backbone,wp-util,wp-backbone,media-models,plupload,wp-plupload,jquery-ui-core,jquery&load[]=-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable,mediaelement,wp-mediaelement,media-views,quicktags&ver=4.8.2:3)
I get the same two (2) errors when I go to any wpdatatable pages (settings, addon, create a chart, create a table, or wpDataTables). The screen is dim and can be read but I can't do anything on the page. The cursor contines to spin. I can see the include BootStrap indicator is turned on.
WP Version - WordPress 4.8.2 running Twenty Sixteen theme.
The two console errors I receive on Chrome are:
Uncaught TypeError: $(...).tooltip is not a function
Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(...).animateFadeOut is not a function
I am running in chrome. When I run in other browsers I have the same problem (page shows as dim and not available for any action) but I don't see the two errors in their console.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. If there is anything I can do to help debug on my site please let me know.
Can you please delete this account from website, because this is public ticket and anyone can see this?
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
That did not work but I disabled "PublishPress Embreds and that seems to be working. Let me test it a bit more and I will let you know what I see. Thanks, Jim.....
Thanks for all your help. I disabled PublishPress Embeds and Its seems to be working fine now.
I do have one other question for you. I am using the selectbox to prepopulate my filter with the available choices. The choices are provided by another wpDataTable that is sorted in descending order. I can't get it to keep the sort order (descending) in the filter dropdown even though the other table I am using is sorted in descending order. The selectbox keeps sorting them in ascending order instead of the order I specified in the other table. Is it possible to get the select box to not resort the items?
Again, thanks for your great support. You have an excellent product, Jim.....

Hi Jim,
Yes there is conflict between bootstrap files. PublishPress Embreds probably use custom solution of bootstrap not hole package like in our plugin.

Hi Jim,
Yes that is the behavior of the selectbox. He order data in ascending order.
Thank you for advice. We will discuss about that.
Best regards
