I gave the URL where i will publish the table - i bought your product specifically because I needed a lookup table on my site for a database of more than 200,000 records.

The tables i need are in the WordPress MySQL database; i have verified all the data.  But when i try to set up the data source I get an error message:  "No data fetched!  . . . Rendered query:  'SELECT * FROM 'wp_rates_w' LIMIT 10 MySQL said:  You have an error in your SQL syntax;  check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version . . . " etc. I have checked the syntax and it is correct:  "SELECT * FROM 'wp_rates_w' LIMIT 10".

I have attached a screenshot so you can see my syntax and the Error message.

Please help, I really need to make my 2 lookup tables for this website functional ASAP.

    Hi Richard,
    Thank you for your purchase.

Can you try to make a table without LIMIT 10?

When you make a table you can set "Default rows per page" throw settings of wpdatatables.

    Best regards

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Richard,

Yes, can you please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Thank you

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Richard,

I managed to make a table from wp_rates_d table that you provide below. You can check table wpdatatable support. Also try to make a table from wp_rates_w, and MySQL find her, but when i try to save get the error and we delete that one(attachment)

The Internal Server Error is a server-side error, meaning the problem probably isn't with your computer, Internet connection or plug ins but instead is a problem with the web site's server.

Can you please investigate your server log and see if there is some errors.

    Hi Milan,

I copied the table you made and created "170927-wholesale" from that one.  I was able to get both tables in my website.  I modified the one you set up and got it looking and working like I want:

See https://voifone.com/pricing . . . it will default to the "Discount Calling" tab.  Take a look.

This is "almost" what I'm trying to do.  We need to get rid of the commas in the Prefix column.  Other than that, this table looks good.  In the settings there is no setting to omit commas or periods.  Can you explain how to do this? The odd thing is that I reset globaltm_rates_w "prefix" field to TEXT and it seems to have worked (look at cpanel, credentials below). I also set THIS table prefix field to TEXT and I'm still seeing the commas.  How to fix?

Next, look at the "Wholesale Calling" tab.  As you can see, the comma in the Prefix field has now disappeared.  I'd like to center this or make it appear flush right, but haven't found how to do that yet.  How?

But now there's a whole NEW problem. When I try to configure [wpdatatable id = 7], the table config screen doesn't show up at all.  Please use the credentials below and log into my site again.  See if you can figure out why, when I try to get in and configure this table, all I see is a blank screen.  Really. NOTHING shows up.  That's AFTER I cleared the cache, cookies and other site data from the browser.  See the attached screenshot.  How can I get the configuration for this table to show up again so I can finish configuring it?

    Hi Richard,

You can turn on option "Skip thousands separator" in colimn settings on DATA tab. (attacment)

I do it for you so the commas are disappear.

In previous message I told you when you make table from wp_rates_w, and MySQL find her, but when you try to save get the error Internal Server Error.

The Internal Server Error is a server-side error, meaning the problem probably isn't with your computer, Internet connection or plugins but instead is a problem with the web site's server.

Can you please investigate your server log and see if there is some errors.

I found a whole NEW problem today; haven't edited anything since yesterday. But today when I tried to log into https://voifone.com/wp-admin, i wasn't able to get the login screen; it just showed me a blank screen.  I went through the usual routine of deactivating all plugins then reactivating one at a time until i locate the offending plugin - it was wpdatatables.

I have left wpdatatables in a deactivated state so you can log in and see if you can find why it's now preventing me from getting into the edit area for my WP site.  I can get into the site, but only because wpdatatables is disabled.

Please use my credentials below and log in . . . see if you can figure out what's happening. I really like this plugin; it's providing me the nice user interface i was seeking for data lookup.

I will check for your answer in my morning, about 8 hours from now.  Thanks.

    Hi Richard,

All issues that you have is because of the table with id 7. When you making that table from MySQL query, wpdatatable pull the data from database but when you try to save that table you get a error.(attachment)

Because of that you can not edit this table. We delete that table so now everything is working fine.

So for the third time, please investigate your server log and see if there is some errors.

    Hi Richard,

We figure out why you have issue with that large table.

Server needs more time to process the data so my suggestion is to change options value below in php.ini file.

    max_execution_time = 120
    memory_limit = 256M

We tested on our local environment and its working.

    Thank you for that.

    I checked php.ini.  memory_limit = 256M was already set to this value.

max_execution_time was set to 30 so I reset it to 120.

I also had Hostgator engineer check the logs;  everything was working fine on the server end.  I deleted and re-installed the plugin.  I had to add this instruction from Milos which I got on July 28 right after I originally installed the plugin . . . once again on THIS re-installation it was greyed-out and non-usable until I did this:

    *******

Next time when you update wpDataTables plugin just add this line of code:

    wp_enqueue_script('bootstrap-js', WDT_JS_PATH . 'bootstrap/bootstrap.min.js', array(), false, true);

in file ../wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/source/class.wdttools.php above this line:

    wp_enqueue_script('wdt-bootstrap-select', WDT_JS_PATH . 'bootstrap/bootstrap-select/bootstrap-sele

    ****************

After another 2 hours ALMOST everything worked right.  Please see the 1st 2 tabs on this page:  https://voifone.com/pricing.  The table in the Discount Rate Plan tab works great. The table in the Wholesale Rate Plan tab only finds about 30,000 of the 197,717 records in the database.

How can we bring in the rest of the records?  It looks like everything else is working just fine.  Please log into wp-admin per the credentials below and let me know what to do . . . or fix the problem, or both.

I will check here again when I wake up . . . thanks.

So . . . maybe you don't work on the weekend?  I'm continuing to check back here often.

    Hi Richard,

We saw that you are used some other tables from database to make tables.

Second one is made from table globaltm_rates_w that returns 30000 rows in database, so wpdatatables make table from that rows in plugin. That is not table with 200000 rows.

We try to make table from table wp_rates_w that have 196717 rows, but still have error. We delete that table because make problems when is not save properly.

So is it possible to update php version to latest one(7.0 or 7.1)?

Okay, I have updated to PHP 7.1 for voifone.com.   I created a new table [wpdatatables=8] and have the same result.  It shows 3000 rows @ 10 rows per page instead of the 196717 rows that exist in this table.

This issue needs to get resolved; we have gone back and forth on it now since September 20, a full 2 weeks. I like your plugin . . . but there seems to be a continuing problem making it display the needed data.

I am standing by for resolution.

    Hi Richard,

That was the problem. PHP 7 is much faster then lower versions. We make the table from table wp_rates_w with 200000 rows.Table id is 9 you can check on website.

Table with id [wpdatatables=8] is made form table globaltm_rates_w from database. In database this table have 30000 rows.(attachment) So wpdatatables make table with that rows.

When you make globaltm_rates_w you probably use something else.

DONE!  If you care to see the result, go to the public side of my site . . . It's hiding behind a Coming Soon page until we launch next week.  This URL bypasses the Coming Soon page and into the site:

    https://voifone.com?bypass=oct15

Just click on the Pricing menu item, top of page. When you arrive at the page click on the Wholesale tab and you'll see the table.  Good work and thanks, Milan!  Now we can finally schedule the opening of this VoIP service.
