First of all I want to say thank you for this great project wpDataTables! It looks very promising … though there are still a few bugs …
This is one of them:
I have two mySQL tables: Currencies & Prices. The field 'currency' of the table 'prices' gets the values via a relationship from the table 'currencies'.
When editing the value of the column 'currency' via pop-up window, everythin goes fine. But when in-line editing the value and choosing 'EUR', something goes wrong.
Are you aware of this bug? And will there be an easy and quick solution?
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Also point me to the table ID's so I can take a look.
I can confirm now that this is the bug on our side and thank you very much for reporting it. I forwarded this to my team and it will be fixed for the next update. My suggestion for now is not to use inline editing with the foreign keys.
Thank you very much for reporting this and sorry for any inconvenience.
