We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Previously, I had wpDataTables plug-in activated in Word Press. I tried it and liked it. So I just purchased the full version of wpDataTables and also completed the download of the full version of it and it is now in my computer's download folder. What do I need to do now so the plug-in in WordPress will be upgraded? Thanks.
Hi VioletLi,
Thank you for your purchase.
There are 2 ways to update the plugin :
First the auto update: You can auto update the plugin by entering your purchase code in wpdatatables settings page.
Second: Manually You can manually update the plugin by following this steps:
1.) Download zip from this link
2.) Use FTP to open /yourwordpressfolder/wp-content/plugins
3.) Delete existing wpdatatables folder.
4.) Upload previously downloaded wpdatatables folder through FTP to plugins folder (unzip it)
5.) Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section.
6.) Deactivate wpDataTables, and then activate it again.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT delete the old version from WP-admin (by clicking “Delete” in the plugins page) if you don’t want to lose all your tables!
You can take a look at our documentation if something is not clear.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic

Thanks for the quick reply. I am not tech savvy at all. I just went to Settings in wpDataTable. But I could not find any place that I could enter the purchase code at all. Can you tell me where or maybe a screenshot? Thanks.
Hi VioletLi,
Purchase code is located in main settings on the bottom of the page (attachment 1).
If is not there, can you please check that you have install full version of plugin or you use Lite version. You can check that in plugins directory. (attachment 2)
Best regards.
