We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
I have built a mysql driven table using wpdatatables and would like to enable users to add rows directly from your table form. However, I would like to manually create/modify the mysql insert/update statement as multiple tables are affected.
What would be the preferred way to achieve this? Thanks.
Navin
Hi Navin,
Thank you for your purchase.
Sorry but can you please describe me a little bit more or send me some example/screenshots so I can give you my suggestion.
Thank you.
Kind Regards,

Hi Navin,
We do not have option to edit more than one MySQL table at a time. You can find more on this in our Documentation.
If you are skillful with code and want to try to extend our code so it will be able to do it in your particular case, please find this file:
../wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/controllers/wdt_ajax_actions.php
and in it function called wdtSaveTableFrontend that is responsible for saving fronted edited data to the database.
Hi Navin,
There is no easy way to achieve this. In this moment you need to hardcode your solution in that file and I can't guarantee that we will not change it. Maybe the simplest way would be to implement hook where you find suitable and then to send it to us for revision. If we find it appropriate we will include it in future versions of our plugin
