When you have some complex queries our suggestion is to make a VIEW in phpmyadmin or any other database management system and see if it is returning the right result. If the data is right you can use that query as an input for Add from data source when creating tables.
Also using DATADIFF i assume that the query will return the data but I can not guarantee that some functions like search, sorting will work.
