Table Sorting by Date on Client - doesn't sort

When I enable sorting on the Client, and attempt to sort a table on a date field, it doesn't work in some browsers/OSes.

    Configuration:
    MySQL table,
"Allow sorting for the table" - on,
"Enable server side processing" - Off,

    Field: 'Date' type of field,
Field: "Allow sorting for this column" - on,
Field: "Sort table by this column on load" - on

    Variations:
Does not work on any iOS browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox), nor on Firefox on any of iOS, Windows, Android, Mac.
DOES work on IE11 & Chrome for both Win & Mac.

Also, if "Enable server side processing" is "On" - then date sorting works, but, of course, is very slow.

    Thanks!
    Corky.

    Hi Corky,
    Thank you for your purchase.

Can you please send me the link of that table so we can test it out and try to reproduce the issue.

    Thank you.

    Kind Regards,

    Bogdan,

The Client side date sorting works on the default included browsers for Samsung Galaxy S5 & also for Kindle Fire. It does not work for the Firefox browser for the Galaxy S5.

    Best Regards.

    Hi Corky,

As a workaround can you enable Server-side processing for that table until we found fix for this bug? If we resolve it, we'll include it in the next release 2.0.2.

    Yes.

We have enabled Server-side processing, and it does pretty good for now. We look forward hopefully to 2.0.2, as the  Server-side processing also slows down the "Search" which our users make use of more than the filter.

    Thanks!
