We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
One or two columns in my table have very long text strings - is there a way to change the row height so that the column width stays fixed and the row height adjusts automatically?
Hi GCooper,
Thank you for your purchase.
Unfortunately there is no option to change the row height only the width is possible to change.
Can you please send me the link of that table so I can take a look and give you my suggestion.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Hi Bogdan, I'm working through a localhost so I can't send the link. But here are screenshots that show the table without and with text-wrap on. I'm able to get the text to wrap when I uncheck the horizontal scroll feature. The version with text-wrap on is fine except the cell size is too narrow. Is there a way for me to use CSS to change the width?
Thanks,
Gail.
Hi Gail,
You can set the column width in the Optional column setup but in case like this I can give you some workaround.
Check responsive option for that table and for columns that are too large check hide on tablets or mobiles.
Then go to wpdatatables settings page and increase the mobile with or table width, for example to 3000px.
That column will now have " +" sign when you click on it that columns will appear for the each row.
Hope this can help you out.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
