I'm trying to use the "Set Cell Content" of conditional formatting. However, HTML tags are being stripped out of the content when I Save the table settings.
So for example, if I try to "set cell content" to
<a href="http://site.com">Advanced</a>
The resulting column value is simply the text "Advanced".
Yes. I go into my data table, scroll down to the "Optional column setup". Then I find my column, click "Define rules" next to "Conditional Formatting", and enter the rule as shown in the attachment. Then I hit "OK".
If I then click "Define rules" again without saving, the HTML tags show up as I entered them.
If I click "Save", and then click "Define rules", the text "Advanced" is there but the HTML tags are gone. And the link does not appear in the table.
I can now see the issue. This is happening because of the HTML sanitization that we had some issues with in our previous versions. ( for example we supported HTML tags in column headers but we need to remove it because of that) I forwarded this to my team and I hope that we can find the proper solution for this for this and for future versions.
Thank you, I would appreciate that. For now I can put the HTML in the original data in the database, but that's not a very elegant solution. I'd prefer not having to corrupt the source data :-)
Hi, have there been any updates to this issue? Since I couldn't use conditional formatting for HTML, I had to enter the data directly into the database tables. But every time an editor goes in to Wordpress and updates a cell, all the HTML code is stripped out again. This isn't ideal....is there any workaround?

How can I include HTML code?
Hi floppysheep,
Thank you for your purchase.
Can you please tell me did you try to enter that HTML tag in the conditional formatting rule?
Best regards.
